NASPO ValuePoint® announces the award of the Master Agreements for the Grounds Maintenance and Equipment portfolio. A total of nine (9) suppliers were recommended for the award. As awards become fully executed, they will be made available through the portfolio to NASPO members. The Multistate Sourcing Team led by Commonwealth of Virginia completed the re-solicitation of the portfolio which allow state and local governments nationwide to source Ground Maintenance Equipment direct from the Original Equipment Manufacturers or from nationwide resellers.
The Ground Maintenance Equipment contract awardees include one or more of the following categories of offerings:
- Commercial Mowers: Includes commercial self-propelled riding mowers, zero turn riding mowers, stand on mowers, walk behind mowers, wide area and robotic mowers.
- Tractors: Includes heavy-duty and compact tractors, Towed PTO Driven medium and heavy duty.
- Utility Vehicles: Includes gas powered, battery operated and diesel powered 4×2 utility vehicles. Includes gas and diesel powered, and battery operated 4×4 utility vehicles.
- Golf Equipment: Includes greens and fairway golf specific grounds maintenance equipment, including gang, flail and reel mowers.
- Turf Equipment: Includes walk-behind & pull-type aerators, pluggers, spikers, seeders, spreaders, tillers and other related turf equipment.
- Handheld Equipment: Includes gas and battery powered trimmers, leaf blowers, and other related ground maintenance handheld equipment.
The new Master Agreements for the Ground Maintenance Equipment portfolio is effective as of 11/01/2024. The legacy Grounds Maintenance Equipment Portfolio expires on 02/27/2025.
This new award for Grounds Maintenance Equipment showcases NASPO ValuePoint’s continued commitment to providing best-quality solutions. Contracts are available for use by state governments, institutions of higher education, political subdivisions, the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities, subject to approval by the State Chief Procurement Official and in compliance with local statutory and regulatory provisions.
